Who we are

This website is operated by SIA "AEZ" (brand aez.digital), registration no. 40203534504, legal address Raiņa iela 20–12, Cēsis, LV-4101, Latvia. We are the controller of the personal data described below. Contact: aez@aez.digital.

What data we process

When you write to us — including through the project brief on our contact page, which opens your own e-mail app — we process your name, e-mail address, company and the content of your message, plus anything else you choose to share.

When we contact businesses about our services, we use publicly available business contact details (company name, business e-mail or phone, website) and our correspondence with you.

When you visit this website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and time of request in server logs, for security and operation. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and this site does not set tracking cookies.

Why, and on what legal basis

To answer your enquiry and prepare a proposal — steps taken at your request before a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). To deliver services under a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)). To meet accounting and tax obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)). To contact businesses about relevant services and to keep the website secure — our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).

How long we keep it

Correspondence that does not lead to cooperation: up to 24 months after the last contact. Client data: for the duration of our cooperation and afterwards for the periods required by Latvian accounting and tax law. Business outreach contacts: until you object, and in any case no longer than 12 months after the last contact. Server logs: according to our hosting provider's short retention periods.

Who receives it

Our e-mail and website hosting providers, acting as processors on our behalf; our accountant; and public authorities where the law requires it. We never sell personal data. If data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to its processing — including any business outreach, where a simple "no thanks" reply is enough — and request data portability. Write to aez@aez.digital and we will respond within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (Datu valsts inspekcija, www.dvi.gov.lv).

We may update this policy when our services or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
